"LittleBigPlanet" chega na semana que vem

A Sony Computer Entertainment of America anunciou, através do PlayStation Blog, que "LittleBigPlanet" será lançado nos Estados Unidos em 27 de outubro. O jogo, exclusivo para PlayStation 3, foi adiado depois que a companhia descobriu referências ao Alcorão, o livro sagrado do islamismo, em uma música de uma das fases.

A Media Molecule, produtora do jogo, disse que preferia lançar um arquivo de correção logo após o lançamento, originalmente marcado para o dia 21, com o objetivo de remover as "expressões" do Alcorão, mas a Sony preferiu fazer um "recall" das unidades enviadas para as lojas, enquanto trabalhava em uma versão sem as tais referências.

O recall, contudo, não impediu que algumas cópias fossem obtidas por pessoas que já estão vendendo-as como item de colecionador em sites de leilão online como o eBay. Os preços chegam a US$ 250.

"LittleBigPlanet" é um game multiplayer de quebra-cabeça e interação social.
